What does Macbeth plan for the day after the banquet? Why? Does he tell Lady Macbeth what he plans to do? What does this suggest about their relationship?
Macbeth had a hard time during the banquest because he saw the ghost of banquo. So he vows to visit the witches the next day to hear about his future. He also says that there is no turning back now and that he will stop at nothing. That he tells his wife shows that they have trust in each other.
Macbeth plans to go see the witches after the banquet, and ask more about his future and what would happen to him. He also wants to know how to protect himself from what will come that could destroy and take his position away from him. From this conversation, it is showed that Macbeth is now the one who is willing to do the action, and Lady Macbeth has a little hesitation to it, but they have arrive to a point that they cannot return to be a normal person; they now can only go forward.
