Both Macbeth and his wife are ambitious, but in different ways. Macbeth wants to rise in his ranks and become king, while Lady Macbeths ambition is to make sure her husband succedes in his life.

come on markus.... Lady is different in the way that her initial ambition is more evil and Macbeths ambition is more naive and has to be pushed in order to do.

I agree. We can see how Macbeth has innerconflicts because of the treason he is commiting. He has honor. however, Lady Macbeth is pure evil she has no thoughts of good... She doesnt think about making these horrible acts twice. her ambition is for power and wealth if she could do it without Macbeth she would have done it on her own.

Lady Macbeth is a whole different ty[e of ambition. She will practically do anything to get what she wants and feel no remourse. Macbeth in the other hand, is a very honorable person, and he knows the difference between right and wrong. Since Lady Macbeth's ambition is stronger, Macbeth feeds off of it, which then influences him to kill Duncan.

Both of them show ambition, but Lady Macbeth as Jose and Jorge have said is more evil than Macbeth. She is also stronger than Macbeth and uses that to manipulate him to do what she wants. Macbeth is more unsure, but does what Lady Macbeth tells him to do.
