Act III scene ii changes in character

Compare and contrast the feelings of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth in this scene. What changes do you perceive in Macbeth? How does Macbeth now feel about Duncan? How do these feelings contrast with his feelings before the murder of Duncan?

In this scene, Macbeth is more traumatized about the fact that he had killed Duncan, which makes him very worried and anxious because he feels that he would get cough anytime. Lady Macbeth in the contrast tells him to stop thinking that way, and get concentrated in the banquet tonight. She is more over about the incident than Macbeth has, however he does also thinks about it in the beginning when she says that it is better to be dead than to be worried about living with the thought of people killing you which later in the scene Macbeth also mentions something similar to it. Macbeth now, in a way, envies Duncan because Duncan is dead now and cannot/ do not have to worried about anything. In the other hand, Macbeth has to be always careful and suspicious about his safety, in which makes him fear more than ever. Before the murder of Duncan, Macbeth believed that once he got the power to be king, he would not have to worried about since his fate will take him in to the right direction, but instead of that he has much things to worry and think about.
